Learn to make Custom, Hand-Carved Rugs, Logo Mats, and Wall Hangings.
If you are interested in learning a new trade, learn from a professional, and learn one-on-one.
If you are good with your hands, have experience with tools, and have some artistic ability, rug making may open new doors for you and create a very good income.
Your future business must be located a minimum of 250 miles from Atlanta, Ga.
Here is what you will Learn
-Basic carpet knowledge
-How to pick your materials
-What tools you will need and where to buy them
-How to make patterns
-How to lay out your work
-How to cut out your work
-Backings and supplies and where to buy them
-How to carve rugs
-How to market your work and who will buy your work
Basic School is five days long 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. one hour for lunch-- Monday through Friday $2,500.00 includes lodging. Does not include travel to Marietta, Ga., or meals. You will make two small rugs and one logo mat to keep.
We also offer a 10 day school that is more intense and covers a lot more information and gives you a chance to really practice what you have learned.
$3,500.00 includes lodging. Does not include travel to Marietta, Ga. or meals.
You will make a larger carved rug and a larger Logo Mat.
